Description

The genesis of this pictures is easy enough: I was testing the mount (which was performing abominably) and wanted something relatively bright and near the equator and at the same time try to understand how best to focus this ED refractor (in other words a jumped up achromat). Hence short exposures to contain the PE (guiding notwithstanding). Since data is data why throw the exposures, albeit not brilliant, away? Ditto for resolution, why post the full scale image when there is no possible increase in detail to be seen?
