Description

Another fun dark nebula target.  I had a clear new moon night, but unfortunately did not get home  until nearly 11:30 pm. Still I decided to get both the RASA8 and Askar400 out. Well worth it in my opinion, even for 5 hour. I will likely return to add more data to this capture as it will be in the sky for several months.

I find  Cederblad 30 /  Barnard to 10 to be a fascinating reflection nebula in the context of dark nebula within the Taurus molecular cloud. The bright star casting an orange glow  hidden by the dust along with the similar features in the area of center part of the image .  The swirling appearance of the dust in this area proves to have a sand storm quality to my eye. I had a hard time finding info about the area and would love any ideas where to further investigate.

I definitely plan to try to bring out some more detail and resolution again with this nebulae  by adding adding a luminance layer 294 mm at 2.3 um bin 1x1 in the feature. Hopefully, I can also bring some more detail out of the large spiral galaxy  IC 359 located in the bottom right of the frame as well.
