Description

Also known as NGC6913, M29 is an open cluster of stars located in the constellation of Cygnus at a distance of about 6,000 light-years away. The cluster contains about 50 stars and gets its name from the brighter stars forming a hyperbolic shape like a cooling tower.



Taken in September 2018 from Campbell, CA, USA. Sky: 18.80 mag/arcsec^2
