Description

To go along with the 18-panel mosaic of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster we shot using the small WO Z61 refractor, we also drilled in on each of the Messier galaxies in the Virgo Cluster using the 1100 EdgeHD. This is the seventh of those long focal-length images.

When we shot this, the wind was blowing at about 25mph and gusting to 50mph. We didn't think there was any way we'd get any usable data. We did have to toss about 30% of our subs, but we still managed to get more than 5 hours of good data on this target and were thrilled to get a hint of the jet coming from the central black hole.
