Description

Also known as "the other Medusa Nebula" or Sharpless 2-274, it a relatively faint nebula, 4 light years wide and 1500 light years away from us, located in Gemini constellation. It was discovered by George Abell in 1955.

As mayority of my latest images this one is processed in pseudo RGB palette composed of a combination of H & S for Red channel, G and O for Green and O for Blue. This renders a very close to real RGB color while being shot with narrowband filters from red zone with only G channel to make up for yellow stars.
