Description

09.NOV.2019 - Celestron Edge HD 1100 + Hyperstar v4

7 x 600s Baader Ha HighSpeed f/2 Filter

Image A:

A short exposed Pacman serves as the first light of the new Hyperstar v4

and is mainly used to check the collimation result.

Weather forecast is currently not very encouraging, further project have to wait...

Image B:

With the picture picture B I would like to show the comparison between

the versions v3 and v4 with 400% standard stretching in Fitswork.

The images are raw shots before stacking and image processing.

The weather conditions certainly were not exactly the same.

However, it is noticeable that the v4 stars are much smaller than the v3 stars,

although the v4 image was exposed much longer at 600s.

The details in the nebula are also more detailed.

I'm looking forward to taking more pictures with this fast optics!

v3 / 5x-stacked 120s Ha, Gain 139, Offset 21 <===> v4 / Single-shot 600s Ha, Gain 70, Offset 50
