Description

This object is a rarely imaged nebula located in the constellation of Andromeda at a declination of +49 degrees. Ironically, although it is designated as a member of the Lynds Catalog of Bright Nebulae, I find it to be very dim. Its brightness is rated 4 on a scale of 1 to 6, where 1 is brightest and 6 is barely detectable.

The nebula spans about 30 arc-minutes in our apparent view. As with many of these nebulae, not much has been written about this object.
