Description

The Wizard Nebula revisited. Wizard Nebula (NGC 7380, Sh2-142), is a young open cluster of stars with associated nebulosity in the constellation of Cepheus. It has an angular size of 25 arc-minutes and is located at a distance of approximately 8500ly from Earth. The cluster spans ~20 light-years with age estimates of 4 to 11.9 million years.

The data was collected on 12 July 2021 and this image integrates 45 x 300 seconds of data. Acquisition in NINA with post processing in APP, and PixInsight. I reprocessed the data in PI with a pseudo Hubble pallette (it's OSC RGB data taken with an l-extreme dual band filter) to try and get some more color into it.
