Description

This was a marathon effort. I managed to obtain 25 images at 8 minutes long each, thus obtaining an imaging time of 3 hours and 20 minutes, under a 63% illuminated moon - not ideal, but manageable in spite of the filter not being especially 'narrow' band. I was hoping to double the number of subs, but every night I took the scope out cloud would drift over, contrary to every forecast and app. I even kept the mount out with an umbrella over it to keep the rain off, and when I finally got a night that was clear, the moon was so bright, any further imaging was pointless! I now have a storm approaching, but I hope to image 'something' again soon... Thanks everyone!
