Description

A large ribbon-like arch was located just north of AR2833 on the limb today. It was difficult to discern if it was two separate proms, one in front of the other or one large arching prom. From other observations and from this animation it appears to be one large arching prom that we are seeing almost edge on but angled just enough to see both halves of the arch. 30 minutes in real time. Actually the eruptive surge prom is even more interesting! Image has been rotated 90 degrees CW for viewing
