Description

This is made up of exposures taken over 4 consecutive nights collecting around 5-6hours a night.

Unfortunately I seem to be getting some very poor guiding on this and other targets that pass near the zenith. Even with good numbers on guiding well under 1 arc sec I'm getting a lot of oval or extended stars that seem to relate to RA oscillation (RA moves ~2x Dec). Not sure if it's flexure or just unbalanced at zenith or both... anyway as a result I culled more than half the subs and they still aren't great.

For subjects further south I have really good guding and nice round stars...just the zenith area - so anything in the -20 to -35 dec range for me here in Brisbane Australia seems to cause me troubles. I'm trying a greater amount of ra "unbalance" tonight and will see how that goes with some imaging on the Swan Nebula.

I have a new 3.5in feathertouch focusser coming next month to replace out the stockl focusser on my APM130 that I hope will help a little. We'll see.

Stacked into separate channels in APP and then combined and processed in Startools 1.7 with final tweaks in PS.
