This picture was taken during my vacation in Tirol. I spent the night on the Silvretta high alpine road in the Hotel Piz Buin at 2040m. Unfortunately the moon and some clouds were there until midnight, but from then on the view was just amazing. I have rarely seen such a beautiful sky.
When I finished my timelapse and the main project at 4:30am and the dawn was breaking, the Orion just rose over the mountains. I quickly took 7 pictures and I have to say that I am quite satisfied with the result.
