Description

Another night with shifting clouds, but with the combination of a 14" aperture and dual narrow-band filter, I  was able to punch through the mist. This is just an extension of my EAA work, so pretty happy to produce something that looks a tad like real AP!  This 5 min live stack  pulls out a surprising amount of detail  in this cosmic lagoon. Indeed, I first thought that the concentric rings of nebula and central channel were artifacts - however,  the expanding shells around NGC 6530  and the central lane are well documented in the literature. Thrilling to be able to see this detail in a 5 minute capture.
