Description

Sh2-216, A planetary Nebula in Perseus, is the closest PN to Earth ever discovered, distance about 390 light years. It's also one of the oldest known and is exceptionally large, measuring about 2 degrees in diameter.
As such, it barely fits in my FOV of 2x3 degrees.
It is exceptionally dim, so it required long exposures of Ha and Oiii to bring out the colors.
