Description

our second closest galaxy neighbor high in the sky this time of year. Processing can range from fairly easy to extremely difficult. (thanks Steve L. for your workflow) This winter when cloudy I'll definitely redo as I'm learning Pixinsight more each day from all you all.

Description: I started from scratch. While I like this version a whole lot better, I don't think I'll ever be happy with my processing of this most difficult to process galaxy. Truly a gem in the skies.

Description: I'm testing Topaz noise reduction tool in this revision. I did not use the sharpen tool, just noise and color noise reduction. seems like it did an overall good job, except for some tiny artifacts around some of the smallest stars.
