Description

I took advantage of the only cloudless evening of the week, to picture Mars once again.

The turbulence was relatively minimal, which allowed me to store a few more images, especially on the IR channel.

We can realize that the planet becomes more and more gibbous as it moves away from Earth.

The main formation is Terra Cimmeria, a very dark area on the Martian equator, and the vast ochre-coloured plain Elysium Planitia.

This is an LRGB image with L=30% IR and R= IR.
