Description

So.... this is a beauty that is often over-looked...

I think it's due to being a broadband target that requires dark skies, so narrowband is not ideal... although, there seems to be a good bit of Hydrogen that could be enhanced using an Ha filter...

I captured this around Christmas 2020, but was not happy with my first process, but I re-visited the data and am alot happier with the results.....

So, here it is...

NGC 2170, (also known as "Angel Nebula" is a reflection nebula in the constellation Monoceros. It was discovered on October 16, 1784 by William Herschel....
