Another shot from my recent imaging run on the southern coastal summit ridge of Matala Bay on the beautiful island of Crete.

This is a 2 panel mosaic of the legendary Alpha to Gamma Cygni Hydrogen Alpha complex.

The southern meridian is over the ocean and there is no light for hundreds of miles until you hit the coast of Africa so its class 1.

The north has several light domes from the nearby villages of Sivas, Livornas, Pitsidia and Timpaki all within 20 miles.
