Description

Finally I could use my Star Adventurer again, under a beautiful dark Sky.
The location is the Dolomites (likely a B4, 21.56, according to my app), at 1800 meters (image B).

This clear night was a gift, because the weather forecast were not perfect; then suddently the Sky was clear just in time.

Considering the location, the Sky, the new Moon, I had no doubt about what to shoot.
My Tamron 15-30 G1 was ready for the Milky Way since long time, it could not fail!

Canon 6D unmodded, Tamron 15-30 @ 15mm F/5.6.

I was amazed of the great sharpness of the stars of this widefield at f/5.6 almost to the edges on my full frame, so I choosed to keep this natural sharpness. I also choosed quite low ISO and 80 seconds of exposure.

Later on, I realized that like this I did not highlight enough some Perseids, and this gave me the idea for the next nights: Tamron full opened at f/2.8 to catch the Meteors Showers... but this is another story and another image.

Thanks for watching.
