Description

I'm continuing my SHO sky survey with the region between Monoceros and Gemini. There are so many little targets in this region and it seems I got part of Barnard's Loop as well. I like how getting everything in one shot allows you to see the relative brightness of these objects. Capturing the Rosette Nebula was quite easy with my equipment, so this survey tells me that the Jellyfish and Monkey's Paw nebula should be within reach as well.

One interesting learning from this project was in how to transfer images between Siril and Photoshop. I had been using png files, which have 32-bit support, but Siril was not using it! I used tiff files this time and then stretched the levels before converting down to 16 bit (as not all Photoshop tools support 32-bit). It seems to have made a difference.
