I was lucky enough to get 2 quite clear nights on 12 and 13 of February and took pictures of several objects.
Seeing conditions were far away from ideal. Some strong gusts of wind and an almost full Moon not far away from interested objects could ruin this rare opportunity.
But to my surprise, I got quite stable and sharp frames in the end. I am definitely very grateful for the latest version of the ASI Air Pro in which
@zwoasi developers included an experimental feature - All-Star Alignment! After the second polar alignment with it, I got around 1.5 arc second during guiding. And this is even with no northern part of the sky to be visible to me.
This time I have decided to give a try to PixInsight image processing tool.
It is really a sophisticated and precise piece of software for astrophotography purposes. I am very grateful for the amazing and thorough Pixinsight tutorials by Kayron Mercieca (
