In August 2021 I started to expose two deep sky objects.
"VDB 150" and "VDB 152".

Here now is "VDB 150"

VDB 150 is a reflection nebula. In the immediate vicinity is LDN 1235, which is a dark nebula. It has the shape of a shark. Therefore it is also called shark nebula. Also you can see VDB 149 on the picture. This is also a reflection nebula.
Near the star "16 Cep" is the galaxy PGC 67671 or also called UGC 11861.

Over three months long I photographed VDB 150.
From August to October I could collect images on different nights.
VDB 150 and 152 are very close together in the constellation Cepheus.
Every night that was clear I used to take LRGB data.
I took care to use the filters correctly. It is important how high the object was in the sky.

It was also important that both objects were photographed with the filter on the same night.  Usually I photographed one hour, per filter, on the respective object in the night.

Bias, Darks and Flats I created connection.
I always saved the focus values from the LRGB filters.
So I could reproduce the focus position for the flats.

The image processing was done in PixInsight and Photoshop.

Hallo Sternenfreunde,

Im August 2021 habe ich begonnen zwei Deep Sky Objekte zu belichten.
„VDB 150“ und „VDB 152“.

Hier nun ist      „VDB 150“

VDB 150 ist ein Reflexionsnebel. In unmittelbarer Nähe ist LDN 1235.
Dies ist ein Dunkelnebel. Er hat die Form eines Hais.
Deshalb wird er auch Haifisch - Nebel genannt.
Ebenso ist auf Bild VDB 149 zusehen. Dies auch ein Reflexionsnebel.
Nahe dem Stern „16 Cep“ ist die Galaxie PGC 67671 oder auch UGC 11861 genannt.
Über drei Monate lange hinweg habe ich VDB 150 fotografiert.
Von August bis Oktober konnte ich an verschiedenen Nächten Bilder sammeln.
VDB 150 and 152 liegen im Sternenbild Kepheus sehr nahe zusammen.
Jede Nacht, die klar war, habe ich genutzt, um LRGB Daten aufzunehmen.
Ich habe dabei darauf geachtet die Filter richtig einzusetzen.
Dabei ist wichtig wie hoch das Objekt am Himmel stand.

Wichtig war auch, dass beide Objekte, mit dem Filter in derselben Nacht fotografiert wurden.  Gewöhnlich habe ich eine Stunde, pro Filter, auf das jeweilige Objekt in der Nacht fotografiert.

Bias, Darks und Flats habe ich Anschluss erstellt.
Wobei ich mir immer die Fokuswerte von den LRGB - Filtern gespeichert habe.
Somit konnte ich die Fokusposition reproduzieren für die Flats.

Die Bildbearbeitung erfolgte in PixInsight und Photoshop.
