Description

Located in the Constellation Auriga this dusty emission nebula is part of a much larger star forming area located in our galaxy about 12000ly away. It is illuminated by the relatively young hot stars of open cluster NGC 1893 near it's center. Stellar winds from these large stars sculpt the structures we have come to know as the Tadpoles. I am just amazed at all the structure in this area that I could not even see with my equipment just a couple years ago.

Description: Revision to include the full frame. Hopefully just a little brighter background and larger stars as well. I thought the original looked a bit clipped.
