Description

Leeds is in Yorkshire

The Oiii coming through in this is the same (ish) colour of the background of the Yorkshire flag the emblem being a white rose hence the title

Taken under a bright 87%+ moon and close over two nights cloud dodging I am pleased I got any Oiii at all ...

I am still trying to work out to get back focus right on my new TS Optics scope ... I have reduced it by one millimetre but stars are still awful , I haven't checked in detail but I think the distortions are pointing the other way so maybe over adjusted ... I am concerned that the stars even in the centre of the field look odd ... I don't think it a tracking issue as mount tracking well and the distortions are present even in very short exposures. Any hints or tips greatly appreciated !

Still looks ok as long not "pixel peeping"

Description: Started from scratch just using HLVG to implement the Hubble palette. This resulted in a much subtle pic with lots more Oiii ... but lacked "punch" so have merged the two versions together to get this
