Description

Puhhh...insane, but I've made, hope you do like what came out.
Due to a southern warm and dry (just 36% humidity) weather conditions we had very stable air, so very good seeing conditons BUT again, dust from the Sahara in the air, so I had to use
longer exposure times (30 - 35ms) to capture the whole Moon in 151 (!!!) single videos cause I've used 4800mm focal length and the tini tiny small sensor of the 178MM camera.

After a whole night running the computer for AutoStakkert to batch process the videos it took quite a while to stitch those 151 single tiff-files!
:-)

To give a better impression of the atmosphere - here a short (untouched) video on YouTube:

Description: On April 14th, the third day in a row, the seeing degraded again but I wanted to image that eastern part of the Moon that seldom is shown with not so well known craters like Hevelius with the "X-mark" in it, the Rimae Hevelius, Vallis Schroeteri, Schickard and Schiller or east of the southern pole - Bailly, the largest (!) crater on the front part of the Moon with about 300km in diameter.
(And NO - the stitching software so far has not been able to add those 42parts mosaic to the already 151parts mosaic)
