Description

The Lagoon nebula, Trifid Nebula and cluster M21 are near the heart of the summer milky way.  The galactic center is roughly 5° to the southwest, and the star field is very dense.

M8 is easily visible to the naked eye under decent skies.  M20 is one of the skies best examples of emission, reflection and dark nebulae all wrapped up into one.

Shot unguided with a Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTI mount and modded D5300 Nikon.
