Description

NGC 891 in Andromeda is known as the "Silver Sliver" galaxy, an edge-on spiral 30 million LY away that is thought to be similar to our own Milky Way.

There are countless distant galaxies in the background - blow it up to full size and have fun exploring

RGB data was acquired from my driveway, and luminance from a darker site about a half hour outside of the Orlando metro area.
