Description

As I am a fan of globular clusters I am happy that I could image the M92 cluster in Hercules.

You know all the facts about it or simply look it up here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messier_92

This is my first serious picture with my replacement mount I got from Bresser. With the new mount I am able to do guiding at 0.8 arcsec. I still see some potential for improvement as I saw long periods where I could do guiding at 0.5 arcsec. So I think I finally got a grip on guiding with this mount.

Overall eccentricity is about 0.58, which is not impressive, so I need to figure out what caused this. I suspect the not optimal backfocus distance of the reducer may have partially caused this.

Avg FMHW was about 5.3 px = 2.9 arcsec at 0.54 arcsec/px which is not bad, I guess.

Any comments welcome
