Description

This was another tough one. Four nights I had collected data. Due to fog, moon and light pollution (Christmas illuminations in neighbors garden) the faint structures completely got lost with 300s RGB exposures. There was only 1 to 2 DN difference in the signal in the dark areas. Two night's data I did not use, since the moon introduced such a strong gradient I could not remove sufficiently.

So I tried to rescue the project by taking some L 600s gain 100 shots to get at least some more structure - with medium success. Unfortunately the 2 days good weather are over.
Not the image I had expected, but I learned a lot and too much effort spent on it to not uploading it.

What I really do like, are these deep red HH objects piercing out of the clouds like red daemon eyes. They are awesome.
