Description

I wanted to capture a wide target to try out my new flattener (thank you wsg!) and I figured a nice, broad, open star cluster would be a good choice - particularly when it's on the way behind the electrical lines in my backyard.

I shot just over an hour of subs, but for some reason a lot of them had to be tossed (I don't usually have that kind of rejection rate for < 60s exposure). I'm reasonably happy with the result, but I'm really not sure how best to process an open star cluster like this, other than to try and save the stars from being too blown out, and to make sure they're as colourful as possible with the data I collected.

Any feedback is appreciated!
