M13 - The Great Hercules Globular Cluster

This shot was made on Tuesday night, May 18 after shooting M82 for the second time in 7 days. In contrast to M82 and the Iris, this is a far easier target to image. It does not require 5-10 hours of data to get a nice result. This image was made from just 23 light frames at 60s ISO 1600 on a modified Nikon D750.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
