Description

As this was the first clear night for a long time, I wanted to get out and get something even though conditions were not good (full moon, windy, and with clouds moving in).

As conditions weren't great, I thought I'd go for a galaxy, rather that the deep sky nebula images that I prefer. I also took shorter exposures than I would normally do.

I managed to get the red subs OK, but guiding struggled while taking the green frames so they took much longer as the image capture kept aborting. The blue frames captured OK, but by then clouds were rolling in.

I had wanted to capture some Lum frames too, but the clouds had fully rolled in by the time the blue was done.

I fairly pleased whith how the result turned out, but it would have been much better with some luminance frames
