Here is the Leo Triplet and the tidal star tail of NGC 3628, imaged over four nights April 2/3, 3/4, 7/ 8, and 8/9.
I've posted a Rev B crop of the Triplet, and a look at NGC3628 alone (Rev C), both at 2x drizzle pixel scale along with the wider Original field of view at native sensor scale that includes NGC3593 and the festive bright star field.
The wider field is another rich hunting ground for background galaxies. Zoomed hunting also reveals short red, green, blue, and luminance tracks from asteroid 2992 Bilbo. I decided to leave them in!
Update:
In the Rev C closeup, one can spot two small features, NGC 3628-UCD1 a small cluster [1] in the brighter blob of the tail nearest the galaxy; and the tidal dwarf galaxy [2] at the tail end of the stream.
