Description

Playing with Siril in post processing so the outcome may be less than ideal.
The open clusters of the Southern Cross seem under represented  so here to my contribution  on correcting this travesty 😉😉NGC4609 is actually situated behind the Coal Sack/Emu  Dark Nebula at a distance of 4305 Light Years and 16.3 light years in diamenter with an absolute magnitude of -3.70 . Hogg 15 on the other hand is 10000 light years away with a diameter  of 21 light years  and an absolute magnitude of -2.23 !!   Note Hogg15 didn't plate solve .It's the small OC opposite BZ Crucis   from NGC4609 .Awe and wonder folks!!!
