Description

About 10 to 11 days after the new moon, the valley of the Bay of Rainbows (Sinus Iridum) is still in the shade, while the peaks of the Montes Jura surrounding the valley from the northeast to the southwest can already be reached by sunlight due to their height. Because of its shape reminiscent of a handle this formation was given the name "Golden Handle".

As always, comments/criticism are most welcome. Stay well.
