Description

This was last updated two years ago.  In this new processing attempt I found that I was able to tease out of the data far more detail than last time. The 30 minute sub exposures help.  I think this is a good description from Rod Pommier in a Sky & Telescope article in 2017.

"DWB 111, also known as the Propeller Nebula is a hydrogen-alpha emission nebula in Cygnus. The propeller shape is actually a small portion of a much larger emission nebula, which can be seen as faint red hydrogen-alpha nebulosity throughout the image frame. The distance to the nebula is not known."
