Description

IC 1805 and IC 1848: The heart and soul nebula, one of my favorite emission nebula.

This time I managed to fit nebula correctly into the frame, a big thanks here to the people behind the Astro Photography Tool (APT). Even though my star adventurer is lacking GoTo, the plate-solve function still gives you a lot of aid in finding your objects.

Interestingly I found it more difficult to bring out the nebula compared to the images I took with my Pentax K-5. Maybe the Canon captures less H-alpha then the Pentax (both cameras are not modified).

Also I took a few 5min shots to check if my guiding could handle it, which it did nicely :-)
