Description

Finally, no curfew and clear skies - even four nights in a row. So I aimed always for the same target which was the Crescent Nebula and surroundings in Cygnus. The image contains three nights of dual narrowband data and one night of broadband data. The narrowband data was used for an H(HO)O color combination giving an Hubble palette look. Of course it's a "fake" Hubble palette since SII is missing, but I like the style nonetheless. Using the broadband data, RGB stars were added to the image.

The aquisition process was fun since it's been the first time I was able to leave all the stuff set up over several days so I only had to polar align once. Just connecting the notebook each time, connecting the equipment to NINA and starting imaging.

All in all, it's the my image with the most integration time by far and I am pretty happy with the result. Hope you like it!
