Description

A good seeing allowed me to get this close up image.
Even though I imaged it for onlyl 45 seconds and got around 4500 frames, I got a pleasing result.
It did give me the notion that I can get it better next chance I get.

The crater itself is a fantastic one - with 5 kilometers deep and 130 in diameter its a big one. It's central peak is double and it can be seen clearly on the peak themselves but especially on on the shadows.

Its my first image of this crater and the first time I actually image the moon when its near full, I guess I will do it more as it has a lot of interesting areas.
it can be seen in my panoramic lunar image, taken at the same day: Lunar panoramic - 98% illuminated but a bit sharper
