Description

I love lunar imaging and do not do it nearly enough. I only tried it with the TOA-130 a couple of times, relying more upon the aperture and resolution of the C11Edge. But I wanted to see if the 5" could produce a respectable lunar image. I think under really good conditions, the data collected with the TOA 130 could be excellent - there would be no need for the over sharpening that was necessary in this case. Small pixels help with scale. This was captured with the Skyris 236c. I don't recall the exact parameters, but I probably used the 25% best frames out of 6,000 or so--probably took a 3 min avi. Stacked using Autostakaard and processed in Registax.
