Description

One of my lenses I wanted to test with the ASI183MM Pro and some filters (like Ha) was the Samyang 8mm f/3.5.

The result is poor, because I didn't close it enough, by fear of lacking light for faint objects... Therefore, there is a lot of coma on the borders of the image circle, and that's really visible. I won't make this error twice !

On the positive side, we can clearly see lots of the most imaged deep sky objects : Heart and Sould nebulas, Pac Man nebula, Andromeda galaxy and much more !

The trick to make the emissions nebulas more visible was to mix the stacked Ha image on top of the L pass (UV/IR stack), and use that to replace the L layer - in LAB color space - of the image made from R, G and B filters, combined in Siril.

It is not really a 8mm due to my Sony to EOS adapter, that is also teleconverter x1,48 (for flange to sensor distance difference bewteen Sony and Canon), so it is not a fully fish eye image.

Next time I will also find a better foreground.

Anyway, feedback is welcome !
