This narrowband image shows the looks and bubbles that characterize areas with active star formation and, undoubtedly, the violent deaths of massive, short-lived stars. At least two Wolf-Rayet stars call this nebula home.

I processed this nebula after removing the stars via StarXTerminator. But putting the back has always been problematic. This morning I came across a video by Bill Blanshan showing the best method I have ever encountered. He offers it as a way to put RGB stars in SHO images, but it also puts very nearly perfect stars into starless RGB images. His video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqnONWVwf-A ) demonstrates quite convincingly why some of the more common approaches fail to reproduce star colors and intensities and why and how his method does a better job. This image used his method.
