Description

The California Nebula (NGC 1499) is an emission nebula in the constellation Perseus and is named for its resemblance to the beautiful state of California. Made up of ionized hydrogen atoms that give the emission nebula its red color. Located about 1000 light years away from earth and spanning 100 light years in length!

Lights: 78x181sec, Darks: 13x181sec, 20 Biases, 20 Flats. L-eNhance filter, HOO processing.

First try at HOO, need to start upgrading gear and dithering to remove some of that noise.
