Description

This emission nebula in Monoceros is imaged much less often than its nearby and much brighter neighbor, the Rosette Nebula. This version uses Ha for both the Red channel and the Luminosity channel. By using photometricColorCalibration (PCC) in PixInsight, I was still able to get good color balance between the channels.

Data was collected the nights of February 14th, 16th, and 17th.
