Description

This image was taken over several nights earlier this month with an ASi1600mm Pro through an Explore-Scientific 127ED using an Orion 0.8x field flattener/reducer. I had intended to capture the nebula in HOO, but wasn't happy with the OIII data, so I took RGB and created a HaRGB image and worked the OIII data into the Blue channel.

The image comprises the following:

Ha: 22 x 300s

OIII: 19 x 300s

R: 20 x 180s

G: 20 x 180s

B: 20 x 180s

Total exposure time was 6 hours and 25 minutes.

The image was processed in Pixinsight and tweaked in Photoshop.
