Description

I can't get over how beautiful the colours of Saturn are. If you set out to design a beautiful celestial object, you could not do better. These colours are real....exactly as they come off the sensor after RGB balancing. I still don't understand why the Cassini Probes images always show Saturn as being so yellow and not at all like we see from the Earth, including from the HST. Does anyone know?

I had good seeing conditions for RGB & IR 642nm BP filter captures. The annotated versions are Revisions B & C. I was able to resolve detail that I haven't been able to for some time.

There is a quite a prominent system on the p side of the Central Meridian in the NTeB and a smaller one on the f side further north. These are easier to see in the Red image which I included Revision D . However, it was not as clear in the IR image.
