Description

About 43 million light years from Earth, this galaxy is similar in size to our own. Unlike the Milkyway, NGC 5033 has no central bar. Its bright, highly energetic nucleus is thought to be powered by a super massive black hole. This active nucleus is what classifies the galaxy as a Seyfert type.

Data was acquired on multiple nights from April 14th to May 3rd 2021

All subframes were 600 seconds both guided and unguided

Approximately 30 subframes each for L, R, G, and B filters.
