Description

Mosaic 3 panels.

The sea of Humors (Mare Humorum) and the beautiful closed plain Gassendi are the most striking elements of this panorama.

The region is also marked by the presence of many grooves and interesting faults to observe with a telescope.

I used a color code on the annotated version to facilitate the identification of the different structures of the relief (green for craters, blue for the seas and yellow for grooves, faults and other formations).

Good weather conditions once again allowed me to get the best resolution possible with my C8. Craters of a size of 1 km are visible here in Mare Humorum.

Finally, for the first time I tested a specific function of the PSP software. This is to slightly change the temperature value of the white light (solar light) which corresponds to 6500 Kelvin. Indeed, the B/W image tends to look significantly bluer. So I adjusted the level to 6000K to get a warmer tone. This correction seems to me to give a more natural look to the panorama.

Thank you for giving me your opinions.
