Description

Messier 33 (NGC 598) is a spiral galaxy located around 3 million light years distant in the constellation of Triangulum. It is often referred to as the Pinwheel Galaxy, although it is not the only galaxy so-named.

M33 was photographed between 9 January and 6 September 2019 from an imaging rig in Spain that is privately-owned and remotely-operated by Barry Wilson and me.

Filters: Astrodon

Mount: 10 Micron GM1000HPS

Ha: 11 x 1200s

Lum: 45 x 600s

Red: 27 x 600s

Green: 27 x 600s

Blue: 27 x 600s

A total of 24 hours and 40 minutes exposure.
