Description

NGC 6015 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Draco, near the north pole. It is an area with many faint background galaxies.


Date: Apr-May 2020 and 2021
Location: Blue Mountain Vista Observatories,New Ringgold PA

Optics/Camera: Starizon Hyperion 12.5 inch and Apogee Alta U8300 for luminance
Optics/Camera: Celestron Edge HD 11 and ZWO ASI1600MM-Cool for color

Exposure: LRGB: L:83x10 R:37x8 min, G:27x8 min, B:36x8 min for a total of 27.2 hrs (183 subs at avg of 534 sec)
Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
